How to Get Yourself Into the Christmas Spirit

So i was surfing down the internet and though: where is that christmas spirit we used to have? What happened to it? Sometimes it's hard when you grow older, because you lose the touch of the wondrous Christmas Spirit. Maybe you're not too old--you felt it last year--but this year with money being tight, you can't make your house feel the way it did, you feel a sense of loss, and you can't feel that special feeling. I'll tell you one thing, EVERYONE deserves to feel that special Christmas feeling, nothing can compare to it, so read this article and with time you will begin to feel it, like you once did before.

1Turn on some Christmas music. Great songs such as "White Christmas" by Bing Crosby, "O Holy Night" by Josh Groban and "Believe" by Josh Groban are great examples, and they will help you lift your spirit.

2Make a batch of Christmas cookies; make sugar cookies, and decorate it your own way with frosting, sprinkles, etc., to bring out the Christmas fun.

3Hang up Christmas ornaments. When you focus on the ornaments, and just on getting it done, it's not fun. But when you have fun, dance with the Christmas music, put a garland up, put little trinkets of Santa Claus, angels and whatnot. You will see, you will have fun.

4Get out of the house. Go to special stores like Macy's and Target and shop in the Christmas aisles, and have fun picking out what stuff you could possibly need. When you see other spirit around you, you're more likely to have that special feeling once again.

5Learn a Christmas song, one that you've never heard before, or one that is your favorite. Print it off the internet and sing the verses quietly to yourself at work, or at the store.

6Put up your tree early. It doesn't matter if you put it up after you read this article, or in a few days, just get it up early. That way, you can decorate the tree and have fun with it, expressing your creativity and feeling like your really into the spirit.

7Give a gift, it doesn't matter to who. But take time with the gift, wrap it, and make your own card, add a special poem.

8Spend time with family and friends. This probably is the most important way to feeling happy. Make some cookies, and invite a few over, and watch a Christmas movie such as "White Christmas".

Handicaps

Disability is the consequence of an impairment that may be physical, cognitive, mental, sensory, emotional, developmental, or some combination of these. A disability may be present from birth, or occur during a person's lifetime.

Intellectual disability (ID), once called mental retardation, is characterized by below-average intelligence or mental ability and a lack of skills necessary for day-to-day living. People with intellectual disabilities can and do learn new skills, but they learn them more slowly. There are varying degrees of intellectual disability, from mild to profound.

What is intellectual disability?

Someone with intellectual disability has limitations in two areas. These areas are:

• Intellectual functioning. Also known as IQ, this refers to a person’s ability to learn, reason, make decisions, and solve problems.
• Adaptive behaviors. These are skills necessary for day-to-day life, such as being able to communicate effectively, interact with others, and take care of oneself.

IQ (intelligence quotient) is measured by an IQ test. The average IQ is 100. A person is considered intellectually disabled if he or she has an IQ of less than 70 to 75.

The law prohibits employers from firing, refusing to hire or 

rehire, or otherwise discriminating, against a “qualified” person 

with a disability on the basis of disability. To be “qualified”, a 

person must be able to perform the essential functions of the 

job, either with or without a reasonable accommodation. 

Examples of work-place reasonable accommodations that 

may be appropriate include: a flexible work schedule, 

providing a reader, providing ergonomic or technological 

equipment, or transfer to an office in an accessible location. 

Employers are not required to provide an accommodation that 

would eliminate an essential function of an employee’s job or 

would pose an “undue hardship” for the employer. An 

accommodation is provided at the employer’s expense, unless 

the employer can demonstrate that it would pose an undue 

financial hardship. The law applies to employers with 15 or 

more employees. 

Section 501 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act governs direct-employment by the federal government. This section of the law prohibits discrimination and requires adoption of affirmative action plans for hiring, placement, and advancement of individuals with disabilities within federal agencies and the U.S. Postal Service.

Section 503 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act prohibits

"Eat cats and dogs", imam tells starving Syrians!

An imam in a rebel-held district of Damascus has issued a fatwa allowing residents to eat cats and dogs, in a desperate bid to ward off starvation after months under siege by the Assad regime.

Salah al-Khatib, the cleric who issued the edict, said he had been left with no choice but to lift the usual restrictions under Islamic law, after government forces and pro-regime militias choked off food and medical supplies to three rebel-held suburbs of Damascus and to a camp housing Palestinian refugees.

This is "not because it is religiously permitted, but because it is a reflection of the reality we are suffering", Mr Khatib told AFP on Tuesday.

Tens of thousands of civilians remain trapped in these areas, some of them living under siege for more than a year. Residents have told The Telegraph that as food has run out, they have been forced in recent weeks to survive on stray dogs, rotting animal carcasses, tree leaves and weeds.

"I have watched the poorer families eat stray dogs because they have nothing else," said Ehab, a resident of the Yarmouk camp, speaking to The Telegraph via Skype. "There is no food here now."

Everyone must eat in order to live. Most of us think that what we eat, and the way they eat it, is the normal or correct pattern. Therefore anyone who eats different things is considered odd. Until relatively recently, human societies were localised and had their own localised eating habits. In the 20^th and 21^st centuries, globalization has led to culinary conflicts as one culture's delicacy is another culture's taboo. To some the cat is a legitimate food source. Others find the concept of cat-eating abhorrent. Is it right for cat-loving countries to impose their cultural values on cat-eating societies?

Over the last 10 months Syrian government troops have been steadily reducing the amount of supplies allowed into these areas.

Some years ago, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation show "Witness" explored the exploitation of animals and the great love of pets, especially in western countries. The show documented the worst and the best that people mete out to animals. Many Canadians and Americans were most horrified at the segments showing how cats and dogs, companion animals in the west, were raised for slaughter and food in certain South East Asian countries.

Previously a British TV programme had shown the preparation of cat at restaurants in part of China. The diner selected a cat and observed its preparation. The conscious cat was thrown into boiling water then dumped in a pail of cold water. This made skinning easier. Some "boiled" cats were alive and moving feebly when dumped in cold water. Some were still moving during skinning and would ultimately have bled to death, perhaps during evisceration. The Chinese place great emphasis on freshness of food hence the live skinning of food animals. I spoke to a Chinese colleague who said that the word for "animal" in his native tongue translates as "moving thing" - animals are considered no more sentient than vegetables.

Illegal immigration refers to the migration of people across national borders in a way that violates the immigration laws of the destined country.

Illegal immigration is overwhelmingly upward, from a poorer to a richer country, and one measurable factor is the ‘push-pull’ incentive - the quality of life in the host country against the home country. But it is also noted that illegal immigrants tend not to be the poorest within their populations.

There are currently approximately 11.1 million illegal immigrants in the United States.

Illegal immigration occurs principally from countries with lower socio-economic circumstances to countries with higher socio-economic circumstances, where people are perceived to have greater economic opportunities and quality of life.

When potential immigrants believe the probability and benefits of successfully migrating to the destination country are greater than the costs, illegal immigration becomes an option. The benefits taken into account include not only expected improvements in income and living conditions, but also expectations in relation to potential future residential permits, where illegal immigrants are given a path to naturalization or citizenship. The costs may include restrictions on living as an illegal immigrant in the destination country, leaving family and ways of life behind, and the probability of being detained and resulting sanctions.

Some support for this claim can be seen in a Pew Hispanic Center poll of over 3,000 illegal immigrants from Mexico in the US, which found that 79% would voluntarily join a temporary worker program that allowed them to work legally for several years but then required them to leave.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may have sought to win over Iranians in an interview with British Persian-language television, but a casual assertion that they were banned from wearing jeans won only gentle ridicule from some of his audience.

Mr Netanyahu has watched with some concern a diplomatic drive by new Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to build warmer ties with the United States and other Western powers and achieve an easing of sanctions on Tehran over its nuclear programme.

But his statements in an interview with the BBC Persian television on the need for Iran to end its uranium enrichment programme were somewhat overshadowed by his comments on fashion freedoms allowed to Iranians by their government.

"I think if the Iranian people had freedom, they would wear jeans, listen to Western music, and have free elections," Mr Netanyahu said in the interview, which was dubbed into Persian and released late on Saturday.

That statement drew a barbed reaction from Iran where, though women are required to cover their hair and wear loose clothing in public, jeans are not forbidden. Much Western music is illegal, but people find a way to listen to it at home.

The National Crime Agency (NCA) started its work on Monday, armed with an annual budget of nearly half a billion pounds to tackle serious and organised crime involving some 37,000 criminals.

More than 4,000 NCA officers will tackle crime under four commands - organised crime, economic crime, border policing and child exploitation and online protection - alongside a National Cyber Crime Unit.

Asked if the new law enforcement arm would be able to bring the fight to the "higher echelons" of organised crime, NCA director general Keith Bristow said: "To be clear, there will be no one beyond the reach of law enforcement or beyond the reach of the NCA.

"Those people involved in the most horrible activities can expect the most comprehensive and robust response."

The launch of the NCA spells the end of the Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca), which is to be absorbed into the new organisation.

Proposals for the new agency were first unveiled by Home Secretary Theresa May in July 2010 as part of a broader shake-up of UK policing.

‘Green Card’ to be abolished by US government!'

The annual diversity visa lottery commonly known as the Green Card is on the chopping board and would be abolished if Congress endorses a measure passed late last week by lawmakers in the lower house.

The House of Representatives voted Friday to cancel the annual diversity visa lottery and give those immigration visas to foreigners who earn advanced degrees from American universities, the Washington Times reported on Monday. This is the first major immigration bill passed by Republicans since the elections.

 The paper says that the 245-139 vote was a test of the GOP’s plan to tackle immigration piecemeal, and while the bill passed, the strong opposition from Democrats suggests that Republicans’ strategy will face difficult hurdles. If Congress passes the law, it would be a big blow to thousands of Kenyans who harbor dreams of migrating to the US to start a new life.

 This is in view of the fact that the program was meant to benefit people in countries and regions that have a low level of immigration to the US. Africa has been a major beneficiary since the program started. Thousands of Kenyans apply and enter the lottery every year with an estimated five thousands qualifying and migrating to the US annually.

And while the chief selling point of the bill was to boost green cards given to science, technology, engineering and technology students, the bigger fight came over Republicans’ plans to cancel the diversity visa lottery, which the GOP argues is rife with fraud.

“We want to put to the head of the line the people who, every single one of them that comes, net creates jobs,” Rep. Darrell Issa, California Republican, who managed the bill on the House floor is reported to have said.

Democrats, though, objected to making immigration a zero-sum equation, where any new visas would have to come at the expense of existing lines of immigration.

“I can’t support a bill that pits immigrant communities against each other,” said Rep. Zoe Lofgren, the ranking Democrat on the House immigration subcommittee.

She also said that it’s not a one-to-one exchange, and immigration would actually decrease under the GOP bill.

While all 55,000 diversity visas are used every year, she said statistics from the National Science Foundation show that there are only about 30,000 students a year who would even qualify.

After Hispanics were credited with helping boost President Obama win elections, both parties have been eager to find ways to tackle immigration.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair will be produced jointly by the C.S. Lewis Company and The Mark Gordon Company.

It's Official!!!

There has been a long and furious debate about the next stage in Batman movie development. There have been many fans holding holding out hope that the world of Chris Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy would be incorporated into Warner Bros. and DC Comics’ larger shared movie universe – including the return of Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman. But Nolan and Bale have made it increasingly clear that their time in the DC Universe is done, leaving the world in need of a new actor to step into the iconic cape and cowl.

Now the world has the actor who will be the next Batman… and it’s Ben Affleck. Affleck will stand alongside (and presumably against) Man of Steel star Henry Cavill in the Superman sequel film, which is tentatively being referred to as Batman vs. Superman.

Variety confirms the announcement from Warner Bros. that Affleck – who directed the studio’s Oscar-winning film, Argo – is indeed the new Dark Knight. In addition to that information, we now know when the Superman-Batman movie will hit theaters: July 17, 2015

BlackBerry trumpeted its intention to deliver the long-awaited Android and iOS versions of its BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) service this weekend, and so fans around the world eagerly awaited the mobile software’s debut. But debut the apps didn't, at least not as intended and not for the vast majority of expectant fans.

As of right now, BlackBerry’s BBM apps for iOS and Android are nowhere to be seen, after the iOS version’s staged rollout of midnight local time at each country around the world got put on hold somewhere around India, and the Android version was a no-show altogether. The Android BBM app was originally slated for a Saturday launch, but the iOS version beat it out of the gate, and both got “paused” after a leaked version of the official Android .apk decimated BlackBerry’s servers.

Late yesterday BlackBerry was forced to put its rollout on hold, which it says is due to overwhelming demand.

“Prior to launching BBM for Android, an unreleased version of the BBM for Android app was posted online,” reads a statement from its official blog. “The interest and enthusiasm we have seen already – more than 1.1 million active users in the first eight hours without even launching the official Android app – is incredible.”

After that original post, those waiting for the official apps had nothing to go on for roughly 15 hours, followed by the most recent official word on the situation via BBM’s verified Twitter account. The most recent news is no news, however, with simply a restatement of its message from earlier that the company is working hard to restore the rollout.

I’ve been eager to get on board with either the Android or the iPhone version, because it means I can finally talk to my father again after so many years of silence. I’ll be able to BBM him for the two months it’ll take for his new iPhone to ship to him, and then I can safely delete the app again.

I asked someone, who just got an iPhone 5s, whether he’s excited about being able to take his BBM network with him as he switches. Here’s what he had to say:

I only have 3 people on BBM now. 2 are [your sister, work and personal ] and the other is your dad. I used to have 30 BBM contacts.

The launch of BBM for iPhone and Android, should it ever actually happen, will be a nice escape raft for people still clinging to the sinking ship, but that’s about it. The other ship BlackBerry is conceivably aiming to float here, the one where it builds a competitive cross-platform messaging platform to rival WhatsApp and others, has already sailed long, long ago.

Struggling smartphone maker BlackBerry, which is already going through a tough phase due to poor sales and bad market performance, faced a major setback after it failed to roll out the BBM app for Android and iOS as per the schedule.

It sounds so unprofessional that a company of such a repute not only failed to meet its planned schedule but also stopped the process midway. While the BBM app was slated to appear first on Android then on iOS, the availability of the app on iOS before Android reflected the unprofessional approach of BlackBerry.

Those who have downloaded the BBM for iPhone from the Apple App Store, will be able to continue to use BBM.

What happened there?
It wasn't easy at all.
All i knew was i was shaking on that place i stood still like a statue.

I envy them...!

Why? Be cos they're well taken care of!
They have the perfect parents love.
Cos they can see the light when it's so dark with parents!
I envy them, cos they have a brother or a sister that haven't gave up for them
Cos they're still together
Cos they still know what love is!

I'm an idiot wherever i go!
Stoped talking long time ago, cos i know nothing important i have to say...
Is it an illusion?
Not it isn't... I'm fully awake.
I know that cos my father isn't like any other father... Pushes himself with his kids to know what they like or what not...
I know cos my father doesn't take me fishing or teaches it to me...
I know becos he followed the politics ruining everything!
I know cos my mother took both roles and got out the house working everyday, fron the morning till the night.
I know cos my sister left for narriage and almost forgot about us.
I know cos the closest people to me ran away, and the farest of them all got to be my friends or what last of friends sticking around...
I knkw they love me... But i know they left!

Be nice to people !I knew lately... That no one will stick by you... Not even your family...

Drama queen

Thanks for not inviting me every time...
Thanks for making me struggle now and then!
Thanks for not being there when i needed you the most
Thanks cos you're happy while I'm sad!
You may say I'm a drama queen...
I say no my queen!
I 'm only a normal person that can do nothing right in life!
I may say, if you'd let me...
that I'm even less than normal...
You may see I'm enjoying my life...but not every smile is a happiness and not every tear is a sadness!
Life, my brother, and sister, may just have began struggling me....
But i know that i can't take it
Cause, when the person meant to stand next to me is far, far away my friend.
Behind his daily life
Behind the selfish happiness that won't last! Behind every happy moment!
Why my friend you may ask?! I can't tell....
And why am i writing this text?!?! I may not have the answer my friend...
But what i know is that i can't take it anymore.... Having a none friendly friend...
People wearing demons face...
Or just being...people!

just to think that people may "talk", and you'll be the subject of the talk... forget it!

think about it a bit:
if you're thinking that people may talk about: you: your brain is " those people"!
it's your conscience disciplining you for something wrong you did!
it's you, the bad one, it's not always the people... don't blame them!

Souls...

Somewhere far behind, away from the city, in a dark place, souls are left to burn, and suffer, couldn't reach the light, we can hear their screaming! Know you're close to them when you see the fight of the fog, when the light is over, when everything fades to see the landfills!

Voices of angels...

It may take us far away in the dark...
Or it may take us in the flashes of the light coming out of the sun...
Some souls are gone to leave life for others... A lot die to let a lot live...
This is life!
Sometimes we can't fix things that destiny destroyed, life can go against us, we can't take back from death, someone , and we can't live in deatg, stuck in the past with him!
We cannot hide from destiny, but we have to keep on moving, life should continue...
It's not the end, it's just the begenning of the story...

Only a passenger

Human is only a passenger, in this life... A visitor as many people said.
From the moment he comes out to life, he starts to move out, maybe only from place to place, or maybe from personality to another one...
He continues, through the ups and downs of the roller-coaster, bringing him down to his knees on the ground or up in the sky...
After love, he moves out to a new place, somewhere, parents call it: " he forgot us!"
Maybe after then he moves to a new home , cos his old one doesn't fit then anymore...
In the end, and after along journey, he quits it, and returns home, where were the oldest souls gone, to go stable in his "walk-through" life, he disappears... And his body vanish... Leaving after her only some aches in the grave-yard leaving only a memory in the black of the back if the head and maybe in a photo hidden in the boxes, not knowing what to do with them!

Parenting: doing it right!

have you asked why, or had recently any problem with your kids?
or why you're not getting any further trying to know why they don't like you?

it's simple, just wait until you know: just listen to them for God's sake !
for once, hear what they have to say!

try to get closer to them, know what they like, what they dislike, like ice-cream or they like to go to the spa, or going to the movies, or maybe they like to chill with the friends, or just relax at the house... and of course avoid asking a lot of fucking questions.


try to talk with them about the problem:
just come to them and ask them what bothers them and if they'd nothing to say, just apologize to them and leave them to come down !

in the end,  don't be bossy, just be a friend, a brother, or a life companion!
be nice to people, be cos one day they'll leave house and their own family, and will be too late to be a friend!

Reason of my existance:

do i make changes to the world?
Why was i made?
Am i the result of drunk mistakes
Or was i ment to exist in here...
Questions and a lot of them have been running in my head lately
I need some help ...
I can't ask
Or even when someone gives me the opportunity,
my tong get nailed and not even one word comes out from my mouth

maybe it was meant to be a happy endings...

i learned to make a living not only a life!
to reach happiness
cos i reached "Ohanna" means family, Family means nobody gets forgotten or left behind!
and once someone said to me try everything
cos one day you'll die, and never to miss a thing

to live is not to only be
to live, to love, to laugh

to enjoy it when doing "IT".
to do when you can't do and what not to do...
to defeat the rules of the nature...
to kill the death
and berry the unbearable!

and finally respect people be cos they're only living the passing through life

Everything Clear!

Everything started to become clearer and clearer...
I found about myself that i was sometimes annoying,
Sometimes lovely,
A friend,
A good listener,
A lover,
Or a secret admirer,
Hoping the best to the best of the people

We've been in a lot of things today
And now i walk away
Alone
Without someone that i know
Is it ment to be?
Or just some ideas my brain is putting inside my head?!
Is it a dream or nightmare?!?
Am i in heaven and in hell in the same damn time?
Am i supposed to enjoy the moment or stay still waiting the light of the sun???
What's next? Wait until i'm kidnapped? Or fight and win?!?
Or simply start from zero to the next level?
A lot of questions, one answer:
Time!
It's enough to ruin and build what was raised by parents and old people that may or not exist!

Be nice to people as long as they're near... Someday the won't
And you'll know their importance to you... And yours to them!

The core of friendship

It's right when "THEY" say: you'll only know what you meant to them when you lose them...
Seriously! Last night i didn't have any idea about my precious to them like a diamond ring in the hand of a gorgeous woman! It'll simply enhace her...
Now i know i wasn't an inoying object that keeps on talking and talking....
Now i know they were interested in me
Or maybe even love me, not only as a friend... But more! As a secret lover!

Today i think of tomorrow
And see it shine cos i know know
Not everyone who smiled in front of you is your friend
And not everyone who used to make laugh at you is your enemy

Be nice to people as long as you got them...enjoy their bullshit as long as you can...and of corse : see their core, what's inside matters tge most not the outside!

I don't know how...
But my life changed so fast without asking me...
I got back my old me,
And found my soul where it must be
I believe again
And finally i'm getting everyday older and growner...
I've changed my loving way and that killing routine in my life!
It's a proud...
And of course with no regreat at all!

Once apon a time,
existance gave birth to a star

That star was a pure joy to the world
For the sky and the earth

That star fell from cloud 9

It was raised between hands of angels on earth and Gods in heaven...
And took apearance of a little girl
That star had alot to give
And a bit to take!

Until everything was taken from her!
Even her life
That star was playing a day and jumped over the road....
Lights took her eyes and flairs moved in millions in her eyes
Suddenly the moment stoped!
Everything freezed in place for Few seconds and started to move again in slow motion
Until the time came and took her...
Since that day screams and cries heared in that place behind the ocean...
Just listen to it....
That scream can be heared anywhere and anyplace... And in anyone!
When missing someone, or when a person passed, when a dispute is going between two beloved ones!

Be nice to people or you'll listen everyday to that symphony of drama... Today you can fix everything while you have the oportunity... Maybe tomorrow you won't!...

Making the changes

Making the changes for the first time is way too hard!
i should have done wayy in the past
But didn't have the courage to do it...
I guess today is the doors of tomorrow
A little bit of pain is better that vain!
It for gain...
I need the gain!
It's a must that i change!
Or i'll lose a year of my life
Again...!

Today i'm here to talk about meetings...
When you are with someone for the first time,
just ask them about what they like to do,
rather that what they do,
it'll get them excited and spark conversation pulling them to like you...
But after all... It'll depend too on your attitude next to them...
Try to make them laugh.
Or maybe make them enchanted by your presence!
Try to seduct them with asking them always to start the conversations and always make the GIRLS TALK! Ask about everything that love in their next date: where they want it to be... Or what food would they rather to eat.
Is it skating or bowling? Is it vegetables or fruits? Salads or meat?

After all... Act nice to people!

Haunt us!

Once, someone said: " you will never know the true value of the moment until it becomes a memory!"
Is it that the fact that you know this moment will not return?
Or that joy you felt that moment?
Or is it the "if you love them release them, free, free to be themself even with another person" thing!
Is it a girl or a boy, a family or a stranger, a second or a life that is lost back in time...
Even if it's fone just a second ago...
It's already in the past!

And saved, maybe in our memories or in a photo, for making that peeking little smile go out from the darkest place in our body to appear on our faces...!

It true i might be a kid, an adolescent but every person has a, or many problems that been through: lost of a person, maybe a parent, maybe lost of anything important... That can ruin us for a while.... Or maybe haunt us for our entire life!

Sound of the silence

I'm here to talk about what silence can bring back to people...
Maybe some demons and devils...
Maybe it can freeze time around!
Or may i ask if it brings back the night the the day
And memories burried in the deepest place on earth...
Clocks may get back in time to the past...
And the future becomes the past...
And the past becomes the present
By then the present stops.!
Ups and downs can be the disorder of the mind!
But after all... God will keep next to us!
And his angels will stick next to us guiding us.
And will help us through other people around us
Writing our new ways of living
Not leaving our side or leaving us thinking: "what would be next, or where to go?!?! What is my way to go?"

Takes but gives

Now it's true that i may have lost the second most precious things God can give....
But i know and remember that he has some new plans for me...
Angels , on Heavens doors can't stand still
seeing people battle and wrestle with demons...
They join in...:)
Making you appreciate life again...after every fall
Even if you're young, or maybe old
You can't go back in time... And can't get young again... But know that today and tomorrow are a full surprise... They may contain sad moment that can make you stop on a point of the time...
Or can give you a gift to enjoy everyday of your miserable life and remember that at this point of the time, someone special gave me that THING and i still keep it until today!
